Japanese inspiration meets graphic structures
This series of images presents motifs created during a photography trip to Japan. Inspired by the local culture and the clear, minimalist design, the photographs combine elements of sand, beach and structures with a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The minimalist, graphic motif unfolds its effect in a special way: from a distance, it appears abstract and symbolic, while up close it reveals the finest details and a precise structure. Whether in a lobby, office, wellness area, spa, hotel, holiday home or modern restaurant – these motifs, inspired by my trip to Japan, create an atmosphere of serenity and balance, as is familiar from Japanese culture. Thanks to their clear design language and understated elegance, the designs are ideal for large-format wall decorations, such as wallpaper, glass tiles or tensioned walls.
